  • Acting for a shopping centre owner in the New South Wales Court of Appeal and Supreme Court successfully opposing multiple urgent relief against forfeiture applications, Duty Judge applications and an appeal during COVID -19 Regulations restricting lessor’s rights to take enforcement action.
  • Acting for a property developer who funded land acquisition to successfully recover $6 million, holding costs and other losses in the Supreme Court of Victoria against a joint venture party who failed to deliver project construction.

  • Successfully acting for a vendor in the Supreme Court of NSW and NSW Court of Appeal where it was alleged that  a fee paid pursuant to a put-and-call option agreement. was a conventional deposit rather than an option fee.
  • Acting for a purchaser developer in a sale of land dispute in the Supreme Court of Victoria for breach of contract and misleading and deceptive conduct against the vendor, real estate agent and conveyancing lawyers regarding a failure to disclose soil contamination at the property.
  • Acted for a former equity partner of a national accounting firm in the Supreme Court of Victoria who made a claim against a former partner who, in breach of the partnership deed and their fiduciary duties invested in a former client of firm without presenting the offer to the other partners.
  • Successfully acted for an industrial landlord regarding the lessee’s  failure to pay arrears and make good costs.
