As society evolves and the expectations of parenting shifts across generations and cultures, family lawyers find themselves navigating the complexities of new technologies, tools, ideas, and dispute resolution methods designed to address family separation, dysfunction and conflict.

The Mills Oakley Family Law Sydney Team are proud to announce that, on Thursday 5 September 2024 our team will be hosting the Robes & Rose CPD Series. This session will delve into the cutting-edge world of parenting disputes.

The panel will consist of our very own Associate and Parenting Co-ordinator, Antonia Marran, and Team Leader, Susan Warda as chair. They will be joined by Bianca Roche-Bolger, Mediator/FDRP of The Mediation Collective and Dr Catherine Boland, Clinical Psychologist and Principal at The Relationspace.

In this article, our Lawyer, Shannon Jenkin, outlines what spousal maintenance is and how inflation continues to affect the financial responsibilities arising following divorce or separation.
